# ChatGPT & Claude clients

> Connect Sacra to ChatGPT or Claude with the official app and connector — one click, no API key required

Sacra is available as an official app in ChatGPT and an official connector in Claude. Install from the directory, sign in to Sacra, and both apps can pull company profiles, funding history, revenue signals, recent news, and analyst write-ups directly into a conversation. ## ChatGPT App for Sacra

The official Sacra app for ChatGPT lets you pull private company data directly into ChatGPT conversations using the Model Context Protocol. Setup takes under a minute and only requires a Sacra account.

1. **Add the Sacra app:** Go to the [Sacra app in ChatGPT](https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6994e1a4aa408191846109195ecfa307) — or search for "Sacra" in ChatGPT's app directory — and click to add it to your ChatGPT account.
2. **Sign in and allow access:** You'll be redirected to the Sacra sign-in screen. Log in and click "Allow". Sacra only reads data and never modifies or deletes your data.
3. **Use Sacra in chat:** Say "Use Sacra" when you want Sacra data. ChatGPT will request tool permissions; approve and continue.

Once connected, try prompts like "Use Sacra to give me an overview of Rippling" or "Use Sacra to compare the funding history of Databricks and Snowflake." ChatGPT will call the relevant Sacra tools automatically and incorporate the results into its response.

## Claude Connector for Sacra

The official Sacra connector for Claude adds Sacra as a remote MCP server, giving Claude direct access to Sacra's company data tools. With the connector active, Claude can look up company profiles, funding rounds, recent news, and in-depth research reports on demand — and weave that data into longer-form analysis, memos, or comparisons.

1. **Connect the Sacra connector:** Go to the [Sacra connector in the Claude directory](https://claude.ai/directory/connectors/sacra) — or find it under Settings → Connectors in Claude — and click "Connect".
2. **Sign in and allow access:** You'll be redirected to the Sacra sign-in screen. Log in and click "Allow" to grant Claude access.
3. **Start using the Sacra connector:** Ask Claude questions about growth & pre-IPO companies, and instruct Claude with "Use the Sacra MCP".

Once the connector is active, Claude will have access to the full set of Sacra MCP tools in every conversation. Try prompts like "Use the Sacra MCP to write an investment memo on Figma" or "Use Sacra to pull the latest revenue signals for Canva and summarize the key trends." Claude will call the appropriate tools and ground its response in Sacra's data.
